Purpose & Mission
The BSM exists to do two things:
MAKE DISCIPLES — We share the Gospel with students so that they will follow Jesus and we help students follow Jesus better.
MOVE DISCIPLES — We train students to share the Gospel with others, mobilize students to serve their local community, and send students to serve around the world.
We are a student-led organization, which means that we depend on the active involvement and leadership of students to accomplish our mission.
The role of BSM staff is to mentor, encourage, and equip students to be dynamic followers of Jesus.
As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be in a structured environment to GROW as a disciple of Jesus and to IMPACT your campus.

New Applicants
Read the BSM Leadership Covenant and Statement of Faith.
Fill out the online application.
Interview with BSM staff/senior leaders (time TBD).
Current Leaders
Refresh yourself on the BSM Leadership Covenant.
Complete the re-up form to let us know if you will be serving again.
Basic Expectations
Strive to live in a Christ-like manner.
You will have ‘ownership’ in your specific area of ministry.
BSM Leadership Retreat in January/August (before the start of the academic year).
Weekly discipleship meeting with a BSM staff member or adult mentor.
Attend Engage Training each Thursday at 12 pm during at least your first semester on the team.
Support the overall ministry of BSM as you are able by attending involvement fairs, socials, Fall Retreat, Spring Break mission trips, etc.
