South Dallas BSM Requirements
Our priority in sending you on missions experiences is to prepare you to have the best possible experience. Since this is such a priority, the BSM has additional training requirements than those of GoNow Missions (the official sending agency of Texas BSMs). We also have a debriefing process established to help you process your experience and connect all that you have seen and done back to life in the metroplex.
Attend at least one of three experiences in order to learn what to expect during your appointed mission.
A previous Go Now mission trip
Beach Reach or Spring Break Mission Trip
Hands-on Training Weekend: This FREE weekend will be led by a staff member.
Training Sessions: Small group time with fellow summer missionaries to have more training, accountability, and a shared going experience.
You can expect 6-7 trainings to be led weekly by BSM staff. Dates and times to be announced.

Discovery Weekend (February)
Discovery Weekend is a time set aside for you to “discover” how God wants to use you in His global purpose. It involves worship, small groups, a missions fair, fundraising training, an individual interview, and much more. Following the weekend, students are notified about where they are invited to serve.

Orientation and Commissioning Service
Orientation is a time to prepare alongside your teammates. You will also be commissioned along with the rest of the Go Now missionaries.
